We are fascinated by mushrooms. Several years ago we started our first two shiitake logs, marking the start of an exciting realm of farming that inspires not only health, but also awareness of the intrinsic connections of life.
We began our larger mushroom endeavor by borrowing Savage Mountain Farm’s tools and space to inoculate a pile of shiitake logs in March of 2019 and 2020 before moving production to Fish Holler in 2021. We are consistently expanding our outdoor production while also developing our indoor lab and grow-space for year round production. Our harvests are currently inconsistent as we continue experimenting with mediums and methods for different species, but will always be committed to clean, natural practices, and look forward to providing our community with these amazingly nutritive, medicinal, and always fascinating delicacies.
