Sunflower microgreens are one of our most popular microgreens for their mild nutty crunch, but they are also a compete source of amino acids and contain zinc, magnesium, calcium, iron, folate, vitamins A, Bs, C, D, and E, potassium, phosphorus, copper, fiber, chlorophyll, and omegas 3 and 6. They have even been used to relieve chest congestion by ayurvedic healers! In addition to their impressive nutritional profile, sunflower micros are delicious and easy to use. We like them plain, in salads, wraps, smoothies (we freeze them for this, too), dips, lightly cooked with nearly any meal -even in soups and casseroles or thrown on top of a pizza towards the end of baking!
