Amanita muscaria is one of Mark’s favorite mushrooms, fascinating in structure and mycorrhizal growth, beautiful at all stages, and (notably) somewhat toxic if consumed raw. To make it safe at a low dose, we dry it at a controlled temperature to convert the ibotenic acid to the friendlier muscimol before making a traditional dual extract over several months, then combining with a cold water extract, a hot water decoction and a soxhlet alcohol extraction for a concentrated broad spectrum final product.
We suggest small dose of just 5-30 drops once or twice a day with periodic breaks. Apparently you should not combine with carbonated beverages as it could potentially lead to some digestive discomfort.
